The best classic Christmas movie, in my opinion, is definitely It’s a Wonderful Life. I firmly believe this film is underrated as a holiday movie. Most people aren’t exposed to the handsomeness James Stewart brings to the Christmas season. Too many people are occupied with “classics” like Christmas Story (which I think is completely overrated and utterly annoying.)

The best somewhat modern Christmas film is one I am currently watching, The Santa Clause. It’s a heartfelt family Christmas movie that has humor. Plus, who doesn’t love Tim Allen? That man is hilarious and loveable. I have a place in my heart for the Santa Clause trilogies and I am not embarrassed to admit it.

I do of course have appreciation for other holiday films. I think Elf is good, just not up to par with the other movies that are famous for this holiday. That is not me downing Elf because, I definitely love that movie and quote it just as much as anyone else.
